Join us once again this year as we present results from the January 2026 CNO/Nurse Leader survey and compare them to the previous 6 years’ surveys, garnering insights as to how challenges in nurse engagement may have changed. We explore the connection between a Nursing Excellence journey and its impact on nurse engagement. Strategies and tactics for improving engagement are described as well as satisfiers and dissatisfiers for both Clinical and Nurse Leaders.

Speaker Bios

Kristin Whitehead, DNP, MBA, RN, NE-BC

Kristin Whitehead has 30 years of healthcare experience in Prehospital-Emergency-Critical Care Services, Inpatient Acute Care, Long-Term Acute Care, Administrative Nursing Services, Magnet®, Baldrige Performance Excellence, and executive leadership. Dr. Whitehead is board-certified as a Nurse Executive through the American Nurses Credentialing Center, is a member of Sigma Theta Tau, and serves as a Baldrige Performance Excellence Examiner. She holds a Master of Business Administration and a Doctor of Nursing Practice with a focus on Executive Nursing Leadership from Texas Christian University.
