This 1-hour interactive webinar explores effective leadership strategies for engaging and managing a multigenerational workforce in healthcare and professional settings. Participants will examine the defining characteristics, values, communication styles, and workplace expectations of Traditionalists, Baby Boomers, Generation X, Millennials, and Generation Z. Emphasis is placed on learning how generational perspectives shape behavior, listening with cultural and emotional intelligence, and leading with adaptability to foster collaboration, reduce conflict, and strengthen team performance. Practical strategies will be shared to support inclusive leadership, improve intergenerational communication, and promote a respectful, productive work environment across all generations.

With more than twenty-five years as a registered nurse and nearly twenty years in nursing education, Dr. Jamil Norman is committed to developing leaders who transform healthcare. As Associate Dean II at Walden University, she provides strategic leadership for the DNP, PhD, and BSN programs, guiding faculty and students toward excellence, innovation, and impact.

Dr. Norman’s leadership philosophy centers on collaboration, accountability, and heart; empowering teams to lead with clarity, courage, and purpose. Through mentorship, strategic vision, and a deep commitment to equity and student success, she helps shape the next generation of nursing scholars and change agents.
