Description

The concepts of biological science are foundational to your future studies in many healthcare fields. Learning more about how science works, how living organisms function, and how living things relate to one another in the natural environment serves as an important step in your journey toward becoming a healthcare professional.

In this course, you will complete a series of graded quizzes that show you have gained the knowledge and skills required for this subject area. Upon successful completion you can submit your Course Completion Certificate to receive credit for the 5-credit Walden course BIOL1001 Introduction to Biology.

The credit you will earn from these courses will be counted as “transfer credit” from the School of Lifelong Learning and can be applied to Walden’s BS in Health Studies and other programs. Some institutions may accept this credit, others may not. Walden cannot guarantee the transferability of credit earned through its programs to other institutions. Residents of NY, RI, CT, and ND are not eligible to apply for academic credit at Walden University or receive a transcript from Walden.
