SaDohl G. Jones, Ph.D., LPC, ACS presents this pre-recorded 60 minute webinar. In this course, participants will exam the ACA Code of Ethics regarding supervision and establishing an ethically appropriate supervision plan. Participants will learn ethically appropriate supervision approaches. Participants will explore ethical decision-making models and identify one that fits their supervision style. Participants will review selected case studies and apply the appropriate supervision approach and ethical decision-making model. Participants will learn best practices for establishing a supervision plan in accordance with the ACA Code of Ethics.

What You Will Learn

Upon successful completion of this activity, you will be able to:

  • Identify common legal and ethical mistakes in supervision
  • Develop strategies to cultivate an ethical supervision relationship for the supervisor and the supervisee
