Dr. Kristin Whitehead has over 35 years of healthcare experience in prehospital-emergency-critical care services, inpatient acute care, long-term acute care, administrative nursing services, Magnet®, Baldrige, and executive leadership. Dr. Whitehead is a Baldrige examiner and is board-certified as a nurse executive through the American Nurses Credentialing Center. She holds a Master of Business Administration and a Doctor of Nursing Practice with a focus on executive leadership from Texas Christian University.
Laurie is the senior vice president of nursing excellence at Healthlinx. She holds a Bachelor of Science in Nursing degree and a Master of Public Administration and Healthcare Administration degree. Laurie is a nationally certified nurse executive and has served in a variety of leadership roles, including vice president of patient care services, chief nursing officer, director of professional excellence, and Magnet® program director. Laurie is best known for her extensive knowledge in nursing leadership, staff development, Magnet® status, and shared decision making. She served for two years as the HR nursing liaison at CHRISTUS Trinity Mother Frances in Tyler, TX, and gained an in-depth knowledge of HR practices and a reputation for creative recruitment and retention strategies.
