Description

Significant gaps exist in the representation and inclusion of Middle Eastern, North African, and South Asian (MENASA) populations in clinical research, which contributes to persistent healthcare disparities. The purpose of this presentation is to introduce the MENASA Group's initiatives aimed at addressing these gaps by promoting culturally competent and inclusive clinical research practices. The session will outline key action items, including community education, youth engagement, professional collaboration, and strategic advocacy. Participants will be encouraged to identify opportunities for engagement and action, ultimately contributing to positive social impact through improved healthcare equity and representation for underserved MENASA communities.
