Dr. Debra Sullivan is a dedicated nursing educator and leader known for her innovative contributions to nursing education. She has extensive experience teaching at the LVN, BSN, MSN, and PhD levels and is currently a senior core faculty member teaching MSN specialty courses at Walden University. Dr. Sullivan holds leadership roles in numerous professional organizations, including serving as faculty counselor for the Sigma Theta Tau International Honor Society of Nursing Phi Nu Chapter at Walden. A prolific presenter and author with over 100 peer-reviewed citations, her research focuses on the integration of artificial intelligence in nursing education. She has also conducted a systematic review on nursing burnout and explored the mental health challenges faced by nurses during the COVID-19 pandemic.
Dr. Ami Bhatt is a highly accomplished doctoral nursing professional with over 30 years of experience in advancing evidence-based nursing practices. Renowned for her leadership in patient care optimization, she has a deep expertise in utilization management, quality assurance strategies, nursing education, and nursing informatics and innovation. Dr. Bhatt’s commitment to exceptional clinical outcomes is reflected in her effective nursing practice and teaching, where she drives positive change in healthcare organizations through health policy and informatics initiatives. In the MSN program at Walden University, Dr. Bhatt serves as core faculty for several nursing courses, focusing primarily on nursing informatics. Her role extends to assisting with administrative activities, including conducting quality reviews and participating in faculty committees. With a focus on creating an engaging and inclusive online learning environment, she fosters a strong sense of community among her students and ensures that they are well prepared for the challenges of modern healthcare. Dr. Bhatt holds a PhD in Nursing from Barry University, a Doctor of Nursing Practice from Oakland University, and dual master’s degrees in business administration (healthcare management and administration and leadership) from the University of Phoenix. She also earned a Bachelor of Science in Nursing from Wayne State University in Detroit. Her academic achievements are underscored by her membership in Sigma Theta Tau International Honor Society of Nursing.
