Curriculum

  • How to Increase Well-Being

Pathways to increased well-being in life are not total mysteries. Indeed, there are evidence-based practices one can use to promote well-being. This training will illuminate an evidence-based pathway for increased well-being.

  • What Is Happiness?

Part of the problem of pursuing happiness is how it is commonly defined. Experiencing joyful emotions all the time is not a definition of happiness that is attainable, nor one that promotes a well-lived life. Understanding and learning skills to live in accord with eudaimonia, a term used by Greek philosophers to capture happiness, can promote increased well-being.

  • Simple, Everyday Skills

Through brief lectures, experiential exercises, and learning checks, you will learn and practice concrete skills that improve well-being. From guidelines to promote improved sleep to skills for integrating psychological flexibility in daily life, you will expand your repertoire of well-being practices.
